Overall a disappointing experience, so back to using Google Docs via the local Docs app. First off, when I tried to edit a DOCX file that was stored in a Google Drive folder the extension immediately copied the file to a directory under OneDrive - not exactly convenient! When I tried to edit that file I found that existing headers & footers had been removed! It appears that new headers & footers can be added, but Word Online lacks Section Breaks, which limits the use of such headers & footers.
Once again I tried Microsoft's Office extension and was again disappointed.
